Welcome to the Claims Department at Hanover Excess &
Surplus, Inc. We want our agents to know that we are here for them not only
during a catastrophe but at any time their clients suffer a loss. It doesn't
matter how severe or minor a loss is to us. They are all major to an insured.
We take pride in the fact that we are able to assist insured's in their time of
need and to give them some type of comfort and understanding during those
trying times.
In order to expedite the claims process, we ask that you do not
call in a claim. This delays not only the assignment of the claim but also
delays the handling of others. We ask that you fax or email all claims to the
Claims Department. Once you have done this please do not mail the loss to us.
This causes duplication of assignments and therefore additional delays.
Claims Department fax number is 800-426-5566. Please feel free
to fax to any of our fax numbers. Our additional fax numbers are 800-910-8157,
800-910-8136 and 800-910-8160.
Emails should be directed to
claims@hanoverxs.com.
We understand there could be extrenuating circumstances such as
you have no power due to a power outage. Of course, we will be more than happy
to take the claim over the phone.
For your convenience the Acord Loss Notices are available on our
site.
Please do not hesitate to contact our Claims Department at
800-672-9006, Ext. 6111 should you have any questions.

formula, snack food, manual can opener, fuel for camping stoves if you have
them, and propane for gas grills, paper plates and plastic utensils.

Clothing-rain gear, sturdy shoes, gloves.
-
First Aid Kit, along with prescription drugs.

-
Flashlights and batteries, and don't forget to check the flashlight bulbs.
-
Battery operated radio, and lanterns with fresh batteries.
-
Cash-remember, if no electricity, your banks may be closed, and ATM's do not
work without electricity.
-
Tarps and duct tape.
-
Important documents, such as insurance policies, and vehicle titles-place these
in a waterproof container or watertight resealable plastic bag.
-
Fill up your vehicle gas tanks - remember, gas pumps operate on electricity.
-
Don't forget your pets - make sure you have plenty of food and water for them
as well, or have made arrangements for their care.
Hopefully we will not need to put these to use this year, but it's better to be
safe than sorry. |
